We often take a chance in November, the time of remembrance, to do something reflective. This year we welcome Sue Henderson, founder of Lothians Speak Their Name, a project which was set up to create a quilt in memory of people who have died by suicide in Edinburgh and the Lothians. 49 people have made squares in memory of their loved ones, which hold the stories of their loves and lives. As well as creating this beautiful memorial, the project also brought people together as a community, where they've found support and friendship. This will be an uplifting session - see the BBC report on the project at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/c3dv4zg5kneo. And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting.
Get your Sunday off to an enlivening and enlightening start. Free to attend, family and dog friendly. Meet some great people, sing along and help yourself and others to Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More - that's Sunday Assembly.
