Learn the basics of 6 COUNT WEST COAST SWING with Instructor Debbie Ramsey - U.S. Open Swing Dance Champion, California Hall of Fame Swing Dancer.We will be offering three, fun and informative workshops starting at 3 pm on the 4th Sunday of the month. Take one or all three workshops. No partner or prior experience necessary.
SUNDAY, JUNE 26th WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
3 PM - 6 Count West Coast Swing Foundations:
This is where it all begins, so don't miss this first class. We'll work on rhythms, frame, connection and moving like a westie.
4 pm - WCS Side Passes:
Learn a variety of important passing patterns to create some variety in your dancing.
5 PM - WCS Push Breaks Variations: This pattern and it's variations are super important in becoming a good westie dancer.
WORKSHOP COST: Register at the door. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the workshops to check in.
BOOT CAMP BANKROLL: Take all three workshops and get the evening swing dance for just $5.00
Carolina Dance Club Members (CDC): $11 One Workshop , $19 Two Workshops, $23 Three Workshops.
Non-CDC Members Public: $15 One Workshop, $23 Two Workshops, $31 Three Workshops. Students (14-24 yrs): $5.00 per workshop. No partner necessary.

Stay for the 6 pm - 10:15 pm swing dance that begins right after the Boot Camp workshops. The evening swing dance is a separate admission charge.
