WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE:

Ecstatic Dance Dance offers a transformational space for healing, prayer, and freeform movement where creativity expands, spirit activates, boundaries are learned, hope happens, beauty flows, communities collaborate, ritual is reinvented, harmony resonates, the beat deepens as an electronic tapestry of world rhythms weave us together as individuals within a greater family.

We create a space that is inspiring and uplifting; without talking, alcohol or the nightclub scene. We encourage participants to utilize the Ecstatic Dance space as an invitation for their magical mysterious nature, soulful somatic movement, creative self-expression, and heart-centered connection to self, life and others.

We hold a nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol-free container to keep the journey intentional and lucid. You can dance the night away and still wake up early to do awesome stuff in the world!

3:00p | Free-form Warm Up: Stretch - Breathe - Meditate

3:15p | Opening Circle + Intention Setting

3:30p | Ecstatic Dance Journey w. Live DJ

5:15p | Closing Circle

GUIDELINES:

1. No talking on the dance floor

2. Drug-Free, Smoke-Free, Alcohol-Free environment

3. No photos or videos, cellphones muted and out of sight

4. Respect for the space and for one another

5. Move your body however you wish!

6. You can dance alone, or with as many partners. (If you’d rather not dance with someone, thank them for the offer by placing your hands in prayer position at your heart.)

WHY? We came to dance.

SUGGESTIONS:

1. Dress comfortably to sweat & move.

2. BYOWB -- Bring your own water bottle - prefer non-glass.

3. Bring health protocol things if you wish - mask, snacks, etc.

We value reciprocity. If you are unable to afford a ticket, but you want to attend, reach out to see about exchanging something at equal value as a form of energetic reciprocation. Volunteer opportunities are available at each dance in exchange for entry. These are limited and must be arranged in advance. Please reach out to use directly to inquire.
