Don’t miss this opportunity for an immersive experience with 𝗔𝗺𝗺𝗶 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗴 as she shares stories from her creative journey while guiding you in a hands-on session to create a mini picture book.
Get her insights on the artistic process behind 𝘈 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘶𝘴𝘬𝘺 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘳 and other nature-themed picture books. She will also share how field research and sketches gathered from far flung places – such as the forests of Belum-Temengor in Perak and the Bario Highlands in Sarawak – inspire her picture books.
Participants will also get to create their 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁. This event is suitable for children (above the age of seven), parents, and anyone who loves stories, nature, zines or picture books.
Notes:
There is a registration fee of RM50. Participants will also get an RM10 book voucher (T&C applies) and complimentary light refreshments.
