The Sun-Moon dance is to give Father Sun gratitude for the day as he passes out of sight and Welcome Auntie Moon as she rises in her full splendor on the evening of the full moon. There is always about a fifty minute interval between Sun set and Moon rise. To celebrate this event we will drum and round dance in the dance circle amid the four elemental altars at our ceremonial space; “Healing Hearts Sanctuary” just down the street from our Kiva and Temazcal (sweat lodge). Like most of our events there will be a pot luck social after.
