The annual Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club Around the Island Race is one of the biggest inshore events in Hong Kong. It is a 26nm race around Hong Kong Island involving Class Keelboats, Dinghies, Beach Cats and Cruisers. This year we are celebrating the 160th Anniversary of the first recorded race around the Island.
Due to the approaching Tropical Cyclone Trami and the possibility of Strong Wind Signal No. 3 being hoisted on Saturday 26 October, we have unfortunately had to take the decision to postpone the Sun Hung Kai & Co. Around the Island Race to 18 January 2025.
