Sun Dogs: A Tribute to Rush

In the wake of Rush's final tour, Sun Dogs formed to reproduce the sounds of rock's finest Canadian trio. Mark Schenker, of multi-platinum-selling recording and touring artist KIX, takes on many roles, including bass, lead vocals, keyboards, and bass pedals.

Bob Paré, the touring guitarist for KIX, handles the guitars and bass pedals and, as an astute guitar collector/enthusiast, plays many of the same guitars Alex Lifeson played throughout his career with RUSH. Bob's Gibson ES-1275 Double-Neck, which he plays on stage, was owned by Alex Lifeson—it is the 'Artist Proof' used for his Signature Line.

On drums, Ricky Slezak represents the best emulation of the late, great Neil Peart. Ricky's passion for RUSH's music is unsurpassed and well-presented to all the loyal "air-drumming" Peart fans everywhere!
