About this Event
Join us on Wednesday, April 29, 2025 for the Summit to Fair Housing hosted by the City of Des Moines Community Impact and Relations Department. This event is designed to provide education in understanding the world of fair housing laws and address the current state of affairs under the new guidance of federal protections.
This event will bring together the voices of civil rights enforcers, housing providers, and residents of Iowa to hear from subject matter experts in the enforcement of fair housing law at the municipal, state, and federal level. Residents are encouraged to attend and equip themselves with knowledge of their tenant rights in Iowa.
Celebrate the enactment of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 with us to commemorate a significant civil rights achievement protecting the right to access housing without discrimination.
Speaker information will be announced soon. Interested in being a sponsor? Contact us at [email protected].
