SummerStarz Movies 2023

SummerStarz is a series of 6 free, wonderful family-friendly movies at Transmitter Park presented by Town Square, a local nonprofit organization. Great family outings. And a great idea for date night!

• July 14 - Top Gun: Maverick
• July 21 - Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
• July 28 - Bohemian Rhapsody
• August 4 - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
• August 11 - Avatar: The Way of Water

Come early to snag a good spot on the grass. Enjoy the gorgeous Brooklyn waterfront until the movie starts at sunset. Can't wait!

Safety considerations:

• Please keep your fur-babies at home, for everyone's sake. SummerStarz does not allow any pets at our movie nights. The movie nights are popular and can very crowded. It can be safety issue for your dogs and people, especially children.

• Please take out of the park everything that you bring in. Let's not encourage the rats with leftovers and dirty containers.

• Please wear acceptable face coverings, if requested by the event organizers.

• Please maintain social distancing.

• Please affirm that you are not COVID-19 positive or in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 during the 5 days prior to the event.

• Please get a free ticket through Eventbrite so that we'll be able to contact you if needed.

Getting to Transmitter Park by public transportation:

• SUBWAY: G-train to Greenpoint Ave stop. Walk 3 blocks west past Franklin St to Transmitter Park.

• BUS: B24, B32 or B43 to Greenpoint Avenue stop. Walk 3 blocks west past Franklin St to Transmitter Park.

• NY FERRY: North Williamsburg stop (N 6th St & Kent). Walk 16 blocks north to Greenpoint Ave. Turn left and walk 2 blocks to Transmitter Park.
