Summerlin Hospital Medical Center – Nutrition for Pregnancy

Join registered dietitian, Tina Glidewell, as she guides expectant families through trimester-based nutrition needs and shares practical strategies for daily meal plans rich in nutrients, offers tips for managing common pregnancy-related discomforts like heartburn and nausea and explores how healthy eating may reduce the risk of developing certain complications such as gestational diabetes and high blood pressure. This class is designed to be taken in early pregnancy or prior to conception.
All classes are held in the Childbirth Education Classroom at Summerlin Medical Office Building 1, located at 653 N. Town Center Drive. Enter off Town Center, south of Banburry Cross & make an immediate right into the parking lot. The Childbirth Education Classroom is located on the ground floor.
