Summer Youth Intensive: Macbeth
An Actors' Shakespeare Project and Central Square Theater Youth Co-Production
July 1- July 28 (Four Week Program / No Session July 4)
Ages 13-19
In our 14th annual Summer Youth Intensive, Actors' Shakespeare Project is delighted to partner with Central Square Theater for an exciting and engaging youth co-production! ASP and CST's combined ensemble will create design rehearse and perform one of Shakespeare’s most compelling tragedies Macbeth paying special attention to the modern-day social justice concerns raised in the text. Directed by Allison Taaffe. Youth actors stage managers designers and technical crew are all welcome and encouraged to apply.
Rehearsals: Monday-Friday 9 am – 4 pm (OFF: Thursday July 4)
Tech: Saturday July 20 10 am – 8 pm
Performances: Thursday July 25 Friday July 26 and Saturday July 27
Strike: Sunday July 28 11 am – 6 pm
