Summer Youth Day Camp: Combined Clay Works and Sculpture with Welcome to the Jungle Painting

Recommended Ages: 7-14

Dates: Monday through Friday July 14-18 from 11am-3:30pm (30 minute break each class for lunch)

Activity Description: We are excited to offer several youth art camps this summer. In this combined half-day program students will receive step-by instruction in clay works & sculpture as well as painting. From 11am-1pm students will learn the basics of working with air dry and polymer clay. They will then have a 30 minute lunch break (please bring a bagged lunch). From 1:30-3:30pm participants will learn the fundamentals of painting as they create unique jungle animals and scenes.

More Information: Stilettos offers unique and fun camps for children throughout the year. Our programs are geared for adolescent children wishing to explore the world of art. We teach simple and fun projects that encourage self-expression education and fundamental art skills. Students will learn a variety of art mediums in these programs with a wonderful instructor. We often include educational pieces in our programs to help expand the mind as well as the heart.

This age group is very creative and their imaginations are limitless. We encourage them to express their unique imaginations and teach them how to do so through art. 

Our main goal is to foster expressive creativity and build self-confidence all while having fun. We help children to grow and use their wonderful imaginations in an unlimited way. 

Each session is 4 hours long (not including lunch) for a total of 20 hours of instruction over the full camp. Students must register at least 3 days in advance to allow for purchase of required supplies.

Price for Full Camp: $300 for non-members or $275 for members. By registering for this combined class you are receiving a buy one class get one 50% off savings.
