Having trouble identifying local trees? With a little guidance, you won't be-leaf how easy it can be! Join an Ijams naturalist for this immersive workshop where you'll learn the basics of tree identification, species histories, and leave with a larger understanding of tree phenology.
All participants MUST complete an Assumption of Risk Form (only once in a calendar year) prior to participation in the program: ijams.org/waiver
If you have already filled out a waiver for another Ijams Education Program this year, there is no need to fill out another one.
Ages: This program is designed for ages 12+
Accessibility: Participants can expect to travel a distance of up to 1.5 miles during the duration of the program over uneven surfaces that may include rocks, roots, and gravel. This program includes various stopping points. The entirety of the program will be held outside - please dress for the weather and bring plenty of water!
Parking: Parking for this Ijams Education Course is free for all participants. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the course begins to obtain a free parking pass upon check-in. Refund Policy: No walk-ins will be accepted. Every participant must have a ticket. Ijams only awards full refunds for any cancellations up to 7 days before a program, or if Ijams cancels a program due to inclement weather. Refunds are not awarded for programs with fees of $5 or less for any reason. Tickets are non-transferable.
