On-site archives sessions at the Discovery Museum. Delivered by The National Archives in partnership with North East Museums.
About this Event

Our on-site sessions, led by an experienced history educator, take place in inspiring learning spaces at The Discovery Museum in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Students will get to see and handle a range of original documents, to investigate the past in an active way. Our sessions deepen students’ understanding of evidence and develop their skills of analysis.

We accommodate group sizes of between 8-30 students, and all groups must be accompanied by school staff.

If you require a change in the time of the session to suit travel or timetable needs, please make a note of it on the booking form.

Please note that certain workshops can be adapted to suit different Key Stages.

Please visit our website for more information on the delivery of sessions.

If you have any questions about booking onto the workshops you can contact the Education team (North East) by email: [email protected] or telephone: 020 3908 9048.
