Summer Taste of Mexico Supper Club with Dinner By Ness

We're delighted to welcome the summer with a delicious Mexican feast by chef Ness Cohen from Dinner By Ness at Moregeous Mansions on Saturday 17th June.

Ness travelled extensively in Mexico, researching and enjoying the cuisine in different areas of the country, and has been running a Mexican restaurant in Glossop for several months. She is super excited to showcase new dishes and share her delicious take on Mexican food with us. "It's fascinating to me how Mexican food uses a lot of the spices I'm familiar with in Middle Eastern cooking, but combines them to make different flavours and marries them with traditional ingredients such as corn."

*Well used to hosting supper clubs in both Bristol and Manchester, chef Ness Cohen's food background includes professional cheffing across the globe, from high in the Canadian Rockies to the French Alps. Her heritage features strongly in her vibrant cooking, with Middle Eastern flavours, classic Israeli & Palenstinian highlights and fresh modern twists.

Spiced Oyster Mushrooms and Pickled Carrot in Mole Poblano - a thick brown sauce made up of over 20 ingredients. Mole is the National dish of Mexico

Crisp, glazed Corn Cake with roasted Corn Ice Cream, Crunchy Totopos in Caramel… and a drizzle of Habanero Jam

For new guests, ours is a relaxed home based supper club with guest chefs - for this evening, Ness Cohen.

Guests are welcome and encouraged to BYO drinks with no corkage charge, as we are not licenced. Water and ice provided, as are all glasses etc.
