The swap will take place on June 6 from 11-1 pm. We're planning to be on the old basketball court on the north side of the fieldhouse, next to the tennis courts. We may be a little hidden from Elston, but don't be deterred! Come find us.
Remember, everything is FREE! No selling please!
Swappers may arrive at 10:30 to set up shop, and may bring blankets, tarps, or tables to set up their wares.
Feel free to bring any reusable shopping bags that you don't want, and drop them at the welcome table for others.
The rule is to take home what you bring if it doesn't get swapped! This is big time!! No mess in the park!
Like all good rules, however, this one has some exceptions, due to few awesome donation partners who will be on site. You may take the following items to their spaces at the beginning of the swap or any time during the swap. Please think of these as "departments" in our temporary free department store - everything at their spaces will still be 100% swappable and, again, they are only taking what is left at the end.
Books4Cause – books!
Cradles to Crayons- kids' clothing, shoes (matched with rubber bands), kids' books, new school supplies, new baby supplies, new hygiene products
Copernicus Center – for now, new, unopened adult diapers
Ecoship - gift wrapping items (gift bags, gift wrap, and bows/ribbons)
Linne - school uniforms!
Finally, please start packing out at 1 pm; let’s be sure to get the space cleaned up, but otherwise we hope you stay and continue to mingle with neighbors in the park! Here's hoping we have great weather and a great time!
