Browns Bay beach is a beautiful summer destination! Bring your friends and whanau along to our free festival for a fun day at the seaside.Family entertainment between 10am and 3pm includes:
~ giant inflatable obstacle course
~ games
~ Heart of the Bays ToyVan
~ bouncy castles
~ sandcastle competition
~ face painting
~ kids' pony rides (10am-2pm. Gold coin donation).

The four talented young siblings, Rumpus Band, will entertain us in Phoenix Plaza from 11am. Outstanding local artists will also be performing on stage on the grassy reserve between 3pm and 7pm. Guaranteed to get the party started, Red Tonik will be first up. Popular and versatile covers band with an extensive play list of classic hits and sing along party anthems. They will be followed by Rewind, experienced musicians/vocalists who perform classic dance hits including favourites from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
This event is funded by Browns Bay businesses and Hibiscus & Bays Local board, so we encourage you to support our shops, restaurants and cafes while you're in town. Grab some takeaways or make a reservation for just after 7pm, when the event finishes, at your favourite restaurant near the beach.
Buckets, spades, togs, jandals and sun block at the ready. And bring some cash! We're excited to see you at the seaside this summer.
