AFTERCARE ADVICE
Sensations of being un-well or at dis-ease often start with a thought or with the experience of an emotion. If those thoughts or emotions are those which are not good for our overall well-being, then their repetition can block the flow of energy around the body.
The aim of Sound Therapy Treatment is to release, restore or recover a healthy flow of energy and balance within the body to bring about feelings of well-being physically, mentally and emotionally.
Sound Therapy Treatment does not however substitute or replace the need for professional medical advice and/or treatment.
After Sound Therapy Treatment some patients may experience such things as headaches, nausea, weepiness, tiredness or confusion. This generally passes and is a normal part of the process as the physical, mental and emotional body works to release and free the movement of energy. This is a natural part of the overall aim to restore balance within. Allow yourself time to be with the experience of these should they happen without judgement or labelling.
Receiving a treatment on an empty stomach can make you feel slightly disoriented or light-headed. This can usually be eased by eating food.
Try to rest as much as possible after a treatment. Allow the body to use this time and any available energy to release, restore and recover.
Eat light foods e.g. fruit and vegetables, and drink plenty of water over the next 3 days to assist with the clearing of toxins or waste from the body.
Listen to your body and rest when it needs to rest.
