Join us for a magical evening as we interact with the energies of the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. Gather around the Sacred Fire to create a ritual space and partake in this ancient tradition of celebrating the lifeforce of the sun.

THE INVITATION - Sacred Fires provide a space and process to connect with oneself, each other, nature, and the world around us; a place to begin to dig a little deeper, discover and express our vulnerability and authenticity, a place to experience the spiritual presence of Fire.

Throughout time, this process of connection – which we call Fire Work – has helped societies form wise and balanced cultures and traditions. As today’s world grows increasingly complex, the advantages of this human-and-fire relationship have largely been forgotten. Sacred Fire offers everyone the opportunity to experience Fire’s benefits.

Engaging the sacred fire in the presence of others is one of humanity’s oldest traditions, where people from all walks of life, religions, and traditions are welcome.

Sacred Fires are hosted by Firekeepers, Amanda and Alan Kerner, who are trained, initiated, and receive continuing education in the time-honored principles of "Fire Work."

ALL FIRES ARE DRUG AND ALCOHOL-FREE

(people are welcome to smoke tobacco around the fire)

SCHEDULE:

6:30 pm - 7:00 pm - come early to help set up

7:00 pm -until ~ 9:00 pm -Solstice Fire( the doors will be locked after 7:30 )

9:00 pm - 10:00pm - Celebration time- snacks, social and clean up time

VENUE/PARKING: You will be coming to the home where we live. Please respect that this is our home. Drive slowly on the road into our neighborhood. Street parking is generally available on 17th and Dewey.

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so ASAP so that the next person on the waiting list can have an opportunity to participate.

COVID: Masks are optional. Please stay home or cancel your reservation if you have been exposed to someone with COVID within the past 5 days.
