About this Event
Come out to Prospect Park for a special workshop and gathering to celebrate the summer solstice! We will be making flower crowns from plants in the park, learning plant identification and folklore, and drinking a seasonal tea as a beautiful way to connect with the land, meet new friends, and honor the summer solstice!
The event flow:
2:00PM Meet just outside the Wellhouse in Prospect Park, on Prospect Park lake. The exact pin will be shared with participants closer to the event, but we will be on the lawn, visible from the Wellhouse!
2:15PM Sit with our tea in a short, guided meditation to ground ourselves and send gratitude to the land. Introduction to summer solstice traditions and flower crown making.
2:45PM Walk + gather plants for our flower crowns. Learn plant identification and folklore.
