Join us for our annual sunrise Yang Spiral Meditation on the summer solstice, in the mystical solar temple of Stonehenge.
Greet the dawn of the longest day of the year in a unique spiral meditation. We will focus the huge energies of these important meditations to assist in the reawakening of the consciousness of humanity, and genuine spirituality in the world.

As part of our ongoing spiritual activities, Tara Yoga Centre has been organising Yang Spiral Meditations at the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge for over 20 years, and this year we will return once again to this special location on the occasion of the summer solstice.
The series of stone circles at Stonehenge was erected around 3000 BC. Monuments such as this, true wonders of the world, were circular structures aligned with the rising of the sun at the solstice.
Stonehenge is much more than its physical presence. The huge stones mark one of the strongest points of energy on the planet, where an upwards energetic vortex rises from the earth. The impressive structure of Stonehenge was probably built as a place for ceremonies and rituals, connected with the earth and sun energies.
As we have experienced during our meditations inside the stone circle, straight from the centre of the marked area a vortex of intense and refined telluric energy rises.
During the longest day of the year, on the summer solstice, when the Earth is under the longest exposure to the sun, this intense manifestation of the telluric energy is polarised by the powerful energy of the sun.
When this strong telluric energy is combined with the beneficial astrological moment of the solstice, and with the meditation performed in the special formation of a Yang Spiral, an opportunity is created for a powerful meditation experience.
Our intention during this meditation is to focus the huge energies to assist in the reawakening of the consciousness of humanity, and of genuine spirituality in the world.

Registration is essential so that you will receive details such as the meeting time and place, travel arrangements, what to bring, and the music that will be used in the meditation.
Programme: (times are approximate)

Thursday 20th June
9pm Free Yang spiral meditation in Tara Yoga Centre. There is no need to book for this meditation. Please arrive no later than 8:45pm.
11pm departure to Stonehenge from Tara London via the coach arranged by Tara (£45 return – booking essential!). Be aware that the system allows buying multiple tickets but it will only reserve one seat for the buyer. In this case please contact us asap to notify us of the other pasanger(s) names at [email protected]

Friday 21st June
2.30am – arrival at Stonehenge carpark
3am – gathering at the meeting point near the Stones, preparations for forming the spiral
3.40-5.15 – Yang spiral meditation at Stonehenge
7.30am – leaving Stonehenge
10.30am – arriving at Tara London

If you are arranging your own transport, the meeting time is at 3am – you need to arrive at the site at 2.30am to have enough time to walk from the carpark to the meeting point. There is also public transport to Salisbury and from there to the Stonehenge site. You still need to book your place in the spiral meditation at Stonehenge (using the third button) even if you are arranging your own transport!

Further details will be sent by email when you book your place in the meditation at Stonehenge.

It is important that you book both the return coach to London and the meditation at Stonehenge as separate activities! Booking the meditation at Stonehenge does not get you a seat on the bus, and booking the coach does not give you access to the important information you need for the meditation at Stonehenge.
