Join us for a 4th annual Summer Solstice Celebration Retreat! The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It's the longest day of the year, and it occurs around June 20th or 21st. It is when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and provides us with the most amount of daylight. This auspicious day has been celebrated by many cultures throughout history and is seen as a time of renewal, growth, and abundance. An outdoors retreat is a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and honor this special time of year. It's a chance to take a break from the busy modern world and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Spiritual rituals and yogic practices are extra powerful and extremely beneficial during this time.
This annual event is located at a private residence in Matua, OH The exact location will be given at the time of registration. The large property has tons of green space, chickens, and a pond.
Enjoy a relaxing and energizing day filled with yoga, meditation, art and community. Full-day and half-day options are available. Last year the lotuses were in full bloom on the pond and oh, so beautiful to gaze at as we made our way around the pond in walking meditation.
Included in the retreat price are healthy snacks and drinks, as well as lunch and dinner. Gluten-free and vegan options will be available upon request. Because space is limited, advanced registration is recommended.
