Summer Solstice: Celebrate with Artshack and Sonic Mud (Annual Fundraiser)
About this Event
Sundown Celebration: Summer Solstice at Artshack
Join us at sundown to welcome the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.
At 6:30 PM, Sonic Mud performs—a live earthen sound project featuring ceramic instruments by artist Julia Elsas. Through improvisation on hand-built flutes, drums, whistles, and chimes, Sonic Mud brings the resonant, elemental sound of clay to life, drawing inspiration from traditional ceramic instruments, including Igbo udu drums and ancient wind instruments from the Americas.
• 5.30 Sound Improv with Artshack Kids
• 6.00 Wine tasting with Tamy Rofe from Colonia Verde
