Join resident Tarot reader and Magician, Marisa for an evening devoted to the art of candle magic. The Summer Solstice is deeply tied to the element of fire as the flame acts as a representation of the sun reminding us of vitality, prosperity and the transformative power of light. Join Marisa on this portal of light as she guides you through an introduction to the practice of creating candles with intention and utilizing them in rituals. She will discuss how to amplify the candle energies using astrological and symbolic timing and show you various techniques to weave in correspondences like herbs, crystals and more. You will work with different types of candles and preparation methods; each participant will take home two candles and a selection of herbs to continue their practice after class. The session will close with a shared ritual allowing the teachings of the evening to settle into the body, the breath, and the flame.
