Summer Slow Roll collab! Meet Me and Melanin In Motion at MIA (10x fast!)

Let's put summer on full notice - it is Slow Roll Season! Slow Roll is a rolling exploration and discovery of everyday places and spaces revealed by biking and walking. This week, Slow Roll, Melanin In Motion, and MIA are collaborating at MIA Bike Night on Thursday, July 11 - arriving before 5:45 and rolling out at 6:00 PM. This event will be a curated ride starting and ending at Target Park at MIA on 3rd Ave. We will roll out together at 6:00 PM and visit a special public art selection by BIPOC and women artists. At each location, we will be accompanied by poetry and song. The performing artists riding with us are our secret. The stops will feature art by Ta Coumba Aikin and Seitu Jones, Poetry by J Drew Dunham and Audre Lorde, and song by... Our Secret. Please reserve a bike if need and bring a helmet if you have one. Parking is available throughout the neighborhood, and there is a ramp just south of MIA on 3rd and at the intersection of 24th St and 3rd Ave. Come ride with us - we wont judge you!
