About this Event

1st Annual Howard County Slam Jam Basketball Tournament

Two days of ardent activities on August 13th and 14th at Meadowbrook Athletic Complex. This event is sponsored by the Office of Calvin Ball; Howard County Executive, in partnership with Pearl Foundation, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Iota Lambda Omega Chapter, and the Kappa Community Development Foundation. Inc. - Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. - College Park Sandy Spring (MD) Alumni Chapter. In collaboration with Howard Community College, we will collect non-perishable food items to keep their food pantry replenished

The first ten girls and first ten boys receive a $100 discount for the team entry fee.

Not only will the boys and girls ages 11 to 16 participate in the tournament but there will also be some fun for friends and family to enjoy.
