Location: Ethica Cafe - 213 Sterling Rd., Toronto, ON

Date: August 26th

Time: 6:00pm -11:00pm

Competition Format – combined score of 4 individual stages

1. Brewing (7-3 pts)

• 250g of comp coffee will be mailed to you before hand, this is all the coffee you will receive so make sure to bring enough for the competition!
• Heats of 3 competitors brewing (7 pts for unanimous winner)
• Bring your own dripper, filters and hand grinder (one will be provided if you don’t have one)
• Fellow Stagg EKG Pro kettles on site
• Must brew with water provided (approx 60ppm)
• No equipment requiring electricity is allowed

2. Latte art (8-0 pts)

• Surface texture, contrast, position and difficulty scored (2 pts per category)
• Milk pitcher will be provided but you can bring your own

3. Obstacle course (7-1 pts)

• Timed stage, pts distributed based on placement tiers (1st - 7pts, 2nd - 5pts, 3rd - 3pts, 4th - 1pts)

4. Cup stamping (7-1 pts)

• Timed stage, pts distributed based on placement tiers (1st - 7pts, 2nd - 5pts, 3rd - 3pts, 4th - 1pts)
