Calgary’s largest annual historical re-enactment festival returns Aug. 16–17 with Summer Skirmish at The Military Museums. Experience over 2,000 years of military history in one action-packed weekend, featuring Viking raids, medieval duels, jousting, musketry, cannon fire and more.
See dramatic performances from groups including Dragon’s Own, Sons of Fenrir, Society of Tilt and Lance Cavalry, Yankee Valley Historical Society and the 10th Battalion (CEF) Commemorative Association. Explore living history camps, view rare military artifacts, and take part in interactive activities for all ages.
