Keep your game sharp this summer with our Summer Skills Development Classes at Wichita Ice Center! These classes are designed to help players of all ages build confidence, improve fundamentals, and stay active on the ice during the off-season.We’ll be offering two age-based sessions each week:
Younger Group (8U & 10U)
Focused on skill development, skating fundamentals, puck control, and fun, age-appropriate instruction.
Older Group (12U–Adult)
Designed for more advanced players looking to refine skating, puck handling, shooting, and overall hockey IQ.
Classes will run for 6 weeks on the following dates:
June: 15, 22, 29
July: 13, 20, 27
Class Times:
• June Sessions
– Younger Group: 6:45 PM
– Older Group: 8:15 PM
• July Sessions
– Younger Group: 6:15 PM
– Older Group: 7:45 PM
Each week will focus on a variety of hockey skills, with structured drills and instruction designed to support player development in a positive and encouraging environment.
Whether your player is continuing to grow their foundation or looking to stay sharp for the upcoming season, our summer skills classes offer a great way to stay on the ice all summer long.
