Summer SideQuest: The Art of the Ask
Step away from traditional networking and join us for an evening built around play, genuine conversation, and asking for help without feeling awkward about it.
The Summer SideQuest is a relaxed, interactive networking experience for business owners, professionals, community leaders, nonprofit leaders, and curious humans who want to build meaningful connections without elevator pitches, forced small talk, or transactional conversations.
Instead of working the room, you will have opportunities to connect through nostalgic outdoor games, shared challenges, and conversations that go beyond job titles.
Your Main Quest: The Art of the Ask
Asking for help sounds simple, but many of us struggle to do it clearly and confidently.
Facilitated by Thomas Stenson, The Art of the Ask will explore how to:
- Recognize when it is time to ask for support
- Make a clear and meaningful request
- Move past the fear of appearing incapable or inconvenient
- Give other people a genuine opportunity to help
- Build stronger relationships through openness and reciprocity
The session will be practical, conversational, and applicable to both business and everyday life.
The Play Area
Throughout the evening, you can connect with fellow adventurers over Giant Lawn Games like:
- Cornhole
- Giant Jenga
- Giant Connect 4
- Giant dice and card games
- And more!
We will also have non-alcoholic drinks, snacky rations, prizes, and take-home loot sponsored by Charzie Designs.

We are here to exchange side quests, share hyper-fixations, ask for help, and find new people to co-op with. Leave the sales pitch behind.
