Summer Sewing Studio: Monster Maker Sewing Day

Fabric scraps are about to become the most ridiculous monsters imaginable.
In this playful one-day workshop, students will design and sew their own Scrappy Monster Stuffy from start to finish. Along the way, they’ll learn some of the same foundational skills real garment patterns use, like seam allowance, pattern markings, and grain lines, but through a project that feels more like creative monster building than a lesson.
It’s the most fun way to sneak in real sewing knowledge.
Each monster ends up completely different depending on fabric choices, shapes, and personality details. Expect goofy designs, big imaginations, and lots of laughter in the studio.
