Class size: 5 studentsJoin us for a week of fun, new friendships, and lots of sewing!
Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya share their love of sewing by teaching basic hand sewing and how to operate a sewing machine. By the end of camp, students will be confident in making creative projects all on their own!
Class includes:
-Use of sewing machines, tools, fabric, and other materials
-Summer sewing t-shirt.
-Multiple take home projects created in class
Day 1:
Hand Sewing Techniques
Learn to Cut Patterns
Hand sew felt pin cushion/magnet
Day 2:
How to Use a Sewing Machine
Day 3, 4 & 5:
We will work on bigger projects including a zipper pouch or scrunchie and:
Week 1 (6/7-6/11) Wall Organizer
Week 2 (6/21-6/25) Tote Bag
Week 3 (6/28-7/2) Drawstring Backpack
COVID-19 SAFETY:
The safety of our students and their families are our highest priorty. Each student will have their own sewinging machine and tools to use which will be sanitized before and after each use. Along with our smaller class sizes, face masks will also be required to help prevent the spread of any illness.
