Join Summit Hut as we welcome Luke Safford from Tucson Audubon Society on Thursday, July 18th from 4:30-6:00pm at our Speedway store location for "Adventures in Birding".Have you ever been distracted by a bird as you are out hiking, running, gardening, or just driving down the road? Of course you have! We live in a unique area here in Tucson where different habitats converge creating the best birding location in all of the United States. We’ll talk about why this is, the amazing birds we can see, where to go, how to connect with the birding community, and the birding adventures that await us just a step from our front doors.
Luke is currently the Engagement Director for Tucson Audubon Society, leads field trips around Southeast Arizona, and oversees the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival, one of the largest birding festivals in the states.
