Summer Seafood Boil with The BIPOC Alliance

Join us for the third annual summer seafood boil for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and allies in Fort Collins. Celebrate the end of summer with community, food&drink, games, music, and good vibes all around.

Date and Time: Saturday, August 3rd, from 12-5 pm
Location: Spring Canyon Park

The seafood boil is not only a time for the community to come together in celebration; it honors the resilience and resourcefulness of our ancestors. Historically, communities of color have struggled with food insecurity. In response, our communities would come together to share what little they had, leading to a community feast. A seafood boil was one of the best and most flavorful ways to prepare a meal using shared resources.

The intention of this gathering is to replicate this community wholeness. We invite attendees to bring what they can, even if it's just good intentions and love.

This year, we are looking for contributions in the form of homemade dishes, snacks, beverages, and additions to the seafood boil pot. If you are able, please sign up to bring a dish when you join us.
