• Join an intensive international Summer School in the historic city of Oxford, developed in collaboration between the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften and the renowned UK-based think tank Green Economics Institute.
• Over five days, you will engage with some of the most pressing challenges shaping the future of sustainability, combining academic depth with interactive and practice-oriented learning.

• A carefully designed academic program addressing key topics such as Green Finance, Green Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Diplomacy in the context of the United Nations, Finance for Development, Governance, and Ethics.All sessions will be conducted in English and take place in both morning and afternoon formats, creating an immersive and intellectually engaging experience.

• Academic Recognition
• Participation is academically recognized by the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften.
  Students of this university receive ECTS credits, which can be credited as an elective within their degree program.
• Fees
• The participation fee is 1,000 GBP, covering the full academic program if booked via the www.geiconferences.org.
• An Early Bird rate of 900 GBP is available until the 12th August 2026 if booked via www.geiconferences.org website.
• A very limited number of Discretionary Bursaries may be awarded for certain criteria of students, from certain countries but these will not provide accreditation to the Universities mentioned. All students successfully completing the course will receive a certificate of participation.

• 1. Summer School Dates:
• Monday, 24 August – Friday, 28 August
• 2. Organizer and Contractual Partner
• The Summer School is organized by the Green Economics Institute, which is the sole contractual partner for all participants.
• Although the academic content and thematic design of the program have been developed in cooperation with the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft and students of this university receive ECTS recognition for their participation, which can be credited as an elective, no contractual relationship exists between participants and the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft.
• 3. Registration and Participation
• Your place in the Summer School is confirmed once registration is completed and the participation fee has been paid in full. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
• Participation Fee
• The participation fee covers the academic program of the Summer School only. Accommodation, meals, travel, and any other personal expenses are not included and must be arranged and covered by participants themselves
• 4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Participation fees will only be refunded if the Summer School is cancelled by the organizer. No refunds can be provided if a participant cancels, withdraws, or does not attend, regardless of the reason.
• 5. Changes to the Program
• The organizer reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program, schedule, or speakers if necessary. However, an appropriate academic program is guaranteed to be provided on all scheduled dates.
• 6. Liability
• Participation in the Summer School is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.
• 7. Insurance
• Participants are responsible for arranging their own health, travel, and accident insurance. The organizer does not provide these insurance coverages and requires all participants to take these out prior to travel.
• 8. Data Sharing
• By registering for the Summer School, participants agree that their personal data may be collected and used for organizational and communication purposes related to the event.
  This data may be shared between the Green Economics Institute and the Deutsche Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaft for purposes connected to the planning, delivery, and follow-up of the Summer School.

Summmer School covering everything to do with Sustainability,

and including Green Finance, Green Economics, Sustainability, United Nations Financial Initiatives, Finance for Development, Governance, Ethics, Green Cultures etc. This is all in a multidisciplinary, international flavour and context from some of the worlds leading developers of these ideas.

This course carries accreditation as part of Berlin Business Schools degree certification as a degree module.

There will be lectures, workshops, keynotes, student presentations, and a certificates ceremony at the end for participants. The course is CPD suitable.

To include at least 1 outing or field trips locally and an introduction to Oxford and its history.
