Summer Savvy with Herbs

Join Community Herbalists Kasey and Rebecca in the Herb Garden as they explore herbs for navigating the longest, warmest, sunniest—and buggiest—days of the year. Participants will learn how to make simple, safe, and effective herbal preparations, including cooling beverages, natural skincare, insect repellents, and remedies to help you feel—and smell—fabulous.

Hosted in tandem by Community Herbalists Rebecca Ingalls & Kasey Sampson, this event will be held in the stunning herb garden at Newhall Fields Community Farm.

All tools and materials will be provided for you to harvest and create your own infused vinegars, tinctures, and tea blends to take home.

Sliding scale pricing available as follows:

We are requesting a $20 per person suggested donation to cover costs.

If you are able to pay extra, a Sponsor Rate is $30 per person

And if you'd prefer to pay less, a Reduced Rate is $10 per person

All proceeds directly benefit our non-profit farm, with its educational programming and food security mission.
