​This four-week watercolor series explores a new coastal-inspired subject each week, capturing the easy, breezy feel of summer by the sea. Phyllis will guide you step-by-step as you create a finished painting in every class.
Perfect for both beginners and continuing students—no drawing experience needed. Just come ready to relax, learn, and paint your way through beautiful seaside scenes!
Week 1: Wednesday, July 8 12-3 PM
Summer Sand Dunes: Learn to paint soft washes and textures to capture sunlit dunes and beach grasses.

Week 2: Wednesday, July 15 12-3 PM
Sea Glass: Explore color layering and transparency while painting glowing pieces of sea glass on the sand.
Week 3: Wednesday, July 22 12-3 PM
Seashells: Focus on shape, shading, and detail to bring seashells to life in watercolor.
Week 4: Wednesday, July 29 12-3 PM
Seagulls at the Shore: Practice simple bird forms, movement, and atmosphere in a coastal scene.
