Join us at Tabb Library for an outdoor celebration as we kick off our Unearth a Story Summer Reading Program!
Head outside for an evening full of fun, exploration, and community connections. Meet local community partners including the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Department Crime Prevention Trailer, York County Department of Fire & Life Safety, York County Friends of the Library, Family Focus, and more. Kids and families can explore hands-on activities, games, and interactive experiences throughout the outdoor spaces.
Come hungry. Food trucks will be on site with something for everyone! Enjoy sweet treats from Sweet Frog and Fizz and Cream, or grab a savory bite from Spud Brothers 757 while you relax and take in the festive atmosphere.
Don’t forget to check out additional activities inside the library, including crafts, live music from the Doorway Singers, and special programs for all ages.
Be sure to sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge and start your adventure—there’s something for the whole family!
