Summer Reading Program 2026 Kickoff Event Featuring Dinoman!

It’s here! Join us for a dinosaur-sized Summer Reading Program Kickoff event centered around the 2026 theme, “Unearth a Story”. Come sign up for Summer Reading, pick up your reading log, and celebrate all day long! Learn with DinoMan and his enormous inflatable dinosaurs, put on your archaeology hat and dig for dinosaur bones in the Library yard, make some Mesozoic crafts, and relax at the end of the day with an afternoon screening of The Land Before Time. Meet you at the Library!
Schedule of Events:
11 – 12 PM • DinoMan! in the Hunter Community Room
12 – 1 PM • Dinosaur Dig, outside
1 – 2:30 PM • Crafting Zines in the Children’s Library
2:45 – 4 PM • The Land Before Time film screening in the Hunter Community Room
Plus, be sure to visit the United Counseling Service table with a fun activity in the MCL Café from 10:30 am – 1 pm!
