Save the date for CLP’s Summer Reading Extravaganza, a family-friendly outdoor festival for all ages! Enjoy an afternoon of music, storytelling, games, crafts, food trucks and so much more!
Join us for performances by:
• Dig into A Garden for Lili with award-winning author and illustrator Melissa Iwai! Her storytime and interactive presentation will showcase the celebration of urban gardening and the ways food connects our communities. Free signed copies of Melissa's book will be distributed to attendees.* (1 per household, *while supplies last)
• SQUONK will perform their new show, Joy Machine, a large-scale music spectacle, inviting the audience to power the performance with their energy — activating a playground of immersive sculptures, fanciful instruments, and kinetic machines alongside Squonk's raucous live band. It will be both a celebration and an invitation: a shared act of creation, joy, and civic engagement.
