The Wiesbaden Library has a host of fun and educational activities during the summer months as part of it Summer Reading Program.
On June 23 community members are invited to join environmental engineer Dr. Grimm for a tour of the Mechtildshausen Domaine organic farm (adjacent to Clay Kaserne). Come learn about the crops, animals and the environment of this working farm. You'll see goats, donkeys, cows and more. Afterwards you are invited to linger at the Domaine's charming on-site cafe. (Bring Euros for any purchases.)
On June 30 two one-hour sessions will be held featuring stories, crafts, activities and giveaways at the Library. This Sunday event is aimed at allowing participants to attend church AND take part in the Summer Reading Program. Sessions are at 10 a.m. and at 3 p.m.
