This year’s Summer Reading theme is All Together Now!The library brings us all together no matter your age, background, or location! We can all find a book or recording to fit our interests — and maybe make some friends in the process.
Summer Reading at the Tarpon Springs Library runs from June 5 through August 5, with activities for all ages.
Reading Logs for Kids (Ages 0-12)
• Pick up a reading log from the library or print from the links below. There is a new reading log for each month.
• Beginning Monday, June 5, color in a community helper each day that you read or are read to for at least 20 minutes.
• At the end of every 7 days of reading, bring in the log to the Youth Services Desk for a prize and a free book!
• At the end of the month, pick up or print out the next month’s log and keep reading for more cool stuff!
• Saturday, August 12 is the last day to submit reading logs for books and prizes.
Reading Challenge for Teens (Ages 13-17)
• Pick up a reading slip or print from the link below.
• Complete a slip every time you read a book.
• Return it to the library to enter a weekly drawing to win a gift card.
Book Bingo for Adults (Ages 18+)
• Pick up a summer reading bingo card at the library or print from the link below.
• Return the completed bingo card to the library for a chance to win a grand prize drawing. Don’t forget to fill in your contact information on the back of the card!
• You can also take a photo of your completed card (both sides) and email it to [email protected]
