About this Event
This will be a good occasion to see what the Mother House is and if you like to join as well.
Come along, bring your children, meet our artists and engage in one of our workshops during the day!
- 11am- 4pm: Arts and crafts for children
- 2pm ( 45 minutes): Waiving workshop
Learn to weave on a little loom. No experience necessary. Max 9 pp
In this 90 minute session artist Fiona Chambers will go through the basics of setting up your small heddle loom, picking yarn, and weaving up your own coaster, bookmark or wall hanging.
- 3pm (45 minutes) : Informal group voice workshop singing circle with Portia Winters
In this occasion, we will partner up with Catford Mews for our new display of artworks part of the Procreate Project Archive.
The Archive is a live growing archive featuring international artists who are mothers/parents. So far we have had displays in London, Oxford, Manchester and Hastings and featured nearly 200 artists.
