As Chicago's cultural guide to Black experiences, we meet people every day who are new to the city and looking for community. Summer Neon Days was created to bring newcomers and longtime Chicagoans together for an afternoon of music, conversation, and genuine connection.
Because the best part of a city isn't just about where you go, it's who you meet.
Everyone will get a color-coded wristband based on how long you’ve lived in Chicago, and mingle with people who are just as excited to make new connections.
Life feels different when you give yourself permission to slow down, laugh louder, and enjoy the moment.
This season, we're choosing high vibrations and making memories with people who feel like sunshine. This day is a reminder that joy is a part of life’s plan.
Wear your brightest neon. Dance a little, play a little, and let summer do what it's meant to do.
