Summer Nature Academies | Young Birders Club For Fifth - Sixth Graders (Ages 10 - 12)
Our specialized Summer Nature Academies are a great way to get children off the couch and into nature this summer! We offer immersive, hands-on outdoor experiences with fun weekly themes led by professional educators and naturalists. If your child loves to explore and learn, our academies are the perfect opportunity!
For kids who love birds! Your child will meet other birders, explore careers in ornithology and learn to identify local birds. Throughout the week, we will discuss bird conservation topics and how we can
help our feathered friends in the wild.
Young Birders Club Dates:
June 19-21 (9 AM-12 PM) #BIRDS.01
Registration begins April 15 for Shelby Township residents and April 22 for nonresidents. $60 per resident, $70 per nonresident.
