Our Summer Music Evenings, located in Longmont, Colorado will be held weekly from May 31st - October 5th, every Wednesday and some Friday evenings, from 4 - 8:00pm, music is from 5-7:30. These evenings, will feature an amazing local band and food truck, while all animals and regular Farmfest activities will be open, for an unforgettable night out on the farm! On June 28th, Big Hooray Bluegrass will be performing! Big Hooray formed in 2019 as Nashville singer and rhythm guitarist Travis Stinson began recruiting bluegrass musicians from the Golden Colorado picking scene. Band members have rotated in and out of the lineup but Travis' powerhouse vocal and driving rhythm guitar remain at the core of this energetic ensemble. The bands influences are drawn from not only the legends of traditional bluegrass: Del McCoury, Larry Sparks, Bill Monroe, etc but also a wide variety of artists and genres including The Grateful Dead, Sly Stone, Radiohead, Velvet Underground, and Dua Lipa. Yes, Dua Lipa!Wheels on Fire food truck will be here to purchase dinner and Palo Coffee & Bar will be on site, serving up non-alcoholic beverages and snow-cones. Bring your chairs, blankets and family for a summer eve listening to your favorite local bands at Sunflower!
