Christ Church Summer Music CampLooking for something for your children to do this summer? Why don’t they join in a fun and engaging summer music camp at Christ Church? 27th-28th August from 2-5 PM, cost just £5 per afternoon session to cover refreshments and administration.This camp is open to children aged 8 -12 years. There are spaces for 20 children.
Christ Church Director of Music Mr Julien Lee and Vicar Fr. Tom Pyke will lead various music games and activities designed to enhance children’s understanding of intonation and rhythm, including physical activities and craft. For the camp, we will explore music from the classic musical The Sound of Music. The non-residential camp will culminate in a mini concert where participants will sing and act out excerpts from the musical for their parents and carers. The Summer Camp will follow the Parish’s Safeguarding Policy Declaration (PCC 16 07 2024)
