Summer Linocut Workshop: Upcycling & Stamping with Vanessa Delaveau

Give new life to your wardrobe in this creative upcycling workshop focused on sustainable design and hands-on printmaking. Using linoprint techniques, you’ll carve your own custom stamps and print directly onto clothing you already own, transforming forgotten or worn pieces into something fresh, expressive, and uniquely yours.

This workshop is all about creativity with purpose: reimagining textiles, reducing waste, and exploring how art can be part of a more mindful, ecological lifestyle. You’ll learn the basics of designing, carving, and printing on fabric, while experimenting with patterns and compositions that enhance and personalize your garments.

No prior experience is needed! This workshop is beginner-friendly and open to anyone looking to explore printmaking in a fun and approachable way. Simply bring a piece of clothing you’d like to revive (natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, and denim work best).

All materials are provided, including carving tools, rubber blocks, inks, and a tote bag to print on. Participants will leave with a custom-made stamp, a refreshed garment, and new skills to continue exploring textile upcycling at home.

Vanessa Delavea is a French graphic designer and artist with a deep love for nature, animals, and playfulness. Her work explores the connection between nature and culture, reflecting on how the two grow together and interlace. While she enjoys experimenting with new techniques, her true passions are watercolour, which she has practiced her entire life, and linoprint, a medium she has been dedicated to for over six years.
