Linda Griffith was named Salado Citizen of the Year in 2024 and continues to live up to the standard. She served as President of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) Tonkawa Chapter for many years and continues to share and educate the public on the benefits of native Texas plants.
This Summer Lecture Series will feature information on drought-tolerant plants as well as those that can withstand the volatile Texas seasons. Linda will have tips for those who are Native-curious as well as recommendations valued by master gardeners. The NPSOT Tonkawa Chapter meets at Barrow Brewing once a month for information and plant-sharing gatherings.
The Summer Lecture Series at Barrow Brewing is at 2 p.m. on Sundays during the summer season. Inspired by Biology Professor Dr. Kaleb Heinrich, the series is an opportunity to "geek out over beer" about topics that interest us all.
