Summer Laughter Party

Kick off your Saturday evening with an uplifting Laughter Yoga experience led by two-time American Laughter Champion and 2023 World Laughter Champion, , from 5:30–6:30 PM, followed by spontaneous laughter interludes.

Never tried Laughter Yoga? You’re in for a treat! Laughter Yoga is a playful, guided practice that blends intentional laughter, simple movement, deep breathing, and connection to help reduce stress, boost your mood, and awaken your natural joy. You don’t have to be happy to laugh—we laugh first, and our bodies naturally respond with many of the same feel-good benefits as spontaneous laughter.

Come reset your nervous system in one of the most joyful ways possible: laughing together in community.

Stay for the whole experience or pause for a few minutes. Bring your friends, your family, and your curiosity—and come away with a sense of well-being and joy!

Free, All Ages, Accessible, and Open to the Public. No experience necessary. This is not a "normal" yoga class. No equipment, mats, or activity "on the ground" (just your feet...!)

RSVPs are helpful but not required — day-of pop-ins are encouraged.

is a citywide series of playful, site-specific pop-up activations by artist Lisa Van Dusen, unfolding across Palo Alto’s POPOS - Privately Owned Public Open Spaces. The project brings underused public benefit spaces to life through temporary, participatory encounters, from tours and performances to creative experiments and moments of surprise.

This activation is funded, in part, by the of the Palo Alto Public Art Program, supported by Ettan~Cal-Indian Cuisine, and is a Magical Series event, in partnership with Magical Bridge.
